Our Story
Andaz A Journey of Flavor, Crafted in Style
Welcome to the vibrant world of Andaz
In every culture, food is more than just nourishment .it’s a celebration, a memory, a connection. At Andaz, our story begins with a simple idea: to honor the rich heritage of Indian cuisine while introducing it to the world through a lens of modern elegance.
Born from a love of tradition and a passion for creativity, Andaz is the dream of chefs and storytellers who believe that every dish has a soul. Our name, Andaz, meaning “style” in Hindi, reflects not just how we cook, but how we think, serve, and connect with people. It’s our way of doing things with flair, authenticity, and heart.
From the bustling spice markets of Delhi to the royal kitchens of Hyderabad, our culinary team has traveled, trained, and tasted their way through India. They’ve brought back not just recipes, but stories — of grandmothers’ secret masalas, of festive street foods, of rituals passed down through generations. At Andaz, those stories are reimagined on every plate, through modern techniques, artful presentation, and global inspiration.
But our journey isn’t just about food. It’s about creating a space where memories are made. Whether you’re joining us for a romantic dinner, a family celebration, or a quiet escape into flavor, we invite you to slow down, savor the moment, and experience hospitality the way it was meant to be warm, genuine, and unforgettable.
This is more than a meal.
This is Andaz a celebration of flavor, culture, and style.
Meet our chef
Akask naik
Akask Naik is a passionate and innovative chef from Mumbai, India, whose love for cooking was nurtured from a young age by his father, a professional chef who inspired him to explore the culinary arts. Akask formalized his training at Mumbai Culinary Craft, where he quickly became known for his creativity and precision, particularly in crafting inventive appetizers and indulgent desserts. He began his professional journey at the Hyatt Regency in Mumbai, specializing in Italian cuisine and gaining popularity for his signature pastas and pizzas infused with Indian flavors. Eager to expand his expertise, Akask joined the iconic Bukhara Grill, where he delved deep into traditional North Indian cuisine, mastering slow-cooked tandoori dishes and rich, aromatic gravies that elevated his culinary repertoire. His work at Bukhara Grill not only deepened his appreciation for regional Indian cooking but also shaped his ability to blend bold spices with refined techniques. Akask’s growing reputation earned him a coveted position at a high-end restaurant in Goa, where he continued to refine his style and lead dynamic kitchen teams. After years of experience in some of India’s top culinary destinations, Akask decided to take his skills global, bringing his distinctive blend of Indian tradition and international flair to a broader audience, with a vision to inspire and delight food lovers around the world.
